Please do not feed the animals

Today was the Third Annual Mom and Me at the Zoo day at Hogle Zoo, to which I dragged mom, dad and James. Noah was excited, but, let's face it, he's two and he thinks that going to Lowe's is an adventure.

While at the zoo, we encountered a whole host of animals, one believed to be only mythical, and others cohabitating when you wouldn't think possible.

First, and perhaps most alarming, we saw a dragon. A real life, fire breathing dragon:




Then we saw this anaconda:


A beautiful mother and daughter tiger pair:


And look at this - a dragon playing with a delicate butterfly:


And that same butterfly with a panda:


And last, but not least, this motley crew:



I love the zoo.
